Thanksgiving Day Fun!

Thanksgiving Day was full of good times! The kids totally took advantage of all the adults around to entertain them.

My parents had a great playground just down the street so we took the kids so they could burn up all their "energies" (as Beau would say)!

We had a super fun Thanksgiving Day! The food was delicious and we all ate ourselves into a coma!

Road Trip to AZ!

We drove to Maricopa Arizona to spend Thanksgiving with my parents and Ocean Grandma (my grandmother). We had a super fun time getting excited for the drive and preparing! Here's us attempting to load 6 people's things in one suitcase ;)

We ran into some serious traffic that added about an hour and a half to the already 6 hour drive. Needless to say, there was a bit of a breakdown in the back. But overall the kids did a great job rolling with it!

We got there safe and sound and just in time for bed! More pics to come of our fun Thanksgiving celebration!

Visit with Annie!

Travis's cousin Annie from Colorado (who now lives in Miami) came for a conference in Los Angeles and made a stop at our house!! The kids loved hanging out with her!

Maizie loved having another girl in the house and especially one with hair like Rapunzel!!

Jack turned 9!!

On the 2nd Jack turned 9!!! He's almost to the double digits! We had a great time celebrating with him and are so glad that he still wants to hang out with us!

He wanted breakfast in bed so we woke him up bright & early to deliver! I think he looks a bit confused in this picture ;)

So far the last 9 years have been wonderful with our little Jacky-doo. He has matured to be quite a responsible little guy who is a little wacky also. We love you Jack and are so thankful for the crazy way you came into our lives.

Halloween 2011!

Halloween is sooo fun for us!! The kids dressed up as some characters from the cartoon "Avatar: The Last Airbender" (thanks Grammy & Grandpa!!)

Beau was Zuko the Firebender (who was a bad guy and later turned good)

Jack was Aang the Airbender (the avatar who is going to save the world)

Maizie was Kitara the Waterbender (who is a girl helping Aang save the world)

We had a good time and the kids totally scored on candy, which Travis & I quickly "checked" for good ones and bad ones.
