Beau's Birthday Pictures!...(finally!)

Beau is now a 5 year old!!

He had tons of friends and neighbors over to help him celebrate!

Jack, Beau, & Maizie got to help decorate every cupcake. So some cupcakes had mounds of sprinkles and some had 2. They were great!! Beau blows out the candles with his buddies all around!

Beau is growing up into such an awesome boy that has a lot of great things to offer the world. He will be starting kindergarten in a couple of weeks and he is stoked!! He is one of the fastest learners I've ever seen and loves to imitate everyone and everything. We know Beau will give all his strength into every task that comes before him. WE LOVE YOU BEAU!!

Lots of July 4th Part-ay-ing!!

"County Fair" at Pat's house! Our wonderful country club neighbor through an elaborate party for everyone in the neighborhood yesterday. Everyone had an awesome time! They gave everyone these hats to wear!

In Pat's back pond he put tons of goldfish so the kids could fish with nets and put them into bowls to take home. Jack & Beau caught 3 but thankfully gave them away to their buddy Ruthy. Maizie & Beau were the only ones interested in getting their faces painted and they're so stinkin cute too!

July 4th Parade on Country Club Avenue!! Jack decorated his bike and Beau decorated his scooter. Maizie doesn't have a trike that fits her tiny little self yet but she is holding a balloon and red ribbon - that's all we could get out of her. Jack is stoked to ride in the parade!

There were tons of these old cars - just our neighbors' cars!

After the parade and fun in the park Trav decided the kids were too hot!! They've had a great weekend so far - let's see what tonight holds!!

Jack's a Kindergarten Graduate!

Jack loved Kindergarten!! Here is Mrs. Goodrich & Jack on the last day of school after the kindergarten graduation ceremony.

He is going to be a first grader now which comes with - big kid playground, lunch at school, and hangin' with his buds all day! Saweeet!

Almost to the finish - Beau & Maizie needing some assistance. Jack ends up in 4th place and one of them was a grown up so I'm gonna say 3rd. Woohoo!! Everyone gets a cool medal and Jack keeps asking when the next race will be.

Maizie couldn't figure out why I was taking pictures of the flowers and not her so here she is. Our big beautiful Hydrangeas.

AWANA Awards!

The kids were involved in AWANA at Long Beach Alliance Church and loooved it! They were used to a much bigger program back in CO but this smaller group proved to be perfect for these guys.

This is Jack & Mr. Tom who is in charge of Sparks. Jack loved Tom! He always came home telling us all the fun stuff that Tom taught. Jack was the only kindergarten Spark to get the perfect attendance medal - woohoo go us!! He also got an award for finishing his first book which means he memorized a heck of a lot of verses.

B-Dog graduated from Cubbies and did an awesome job!!

Another crap picture! But there he is on stage accepting his award. He had a great time at cubbies but is super excited to be a SPARK next year with Jack. Yet another crap picture..ugh. You can kind of see Beau on the left next to the chick with the blue dress on.

I know the kids have stored so much of God's Word in their heart because I hear them telling other kids the verses they've learned. It's really great to see them on fire and being around other kids that love God too.

Next year Maizie girl will be a Cubbie and then we'll have Wednesday evenings all to ourselves YEAH!!!

Beau's PreK

Beau loved showing us around his Pre K class during his recent open house. He gave us the ultimate tour and showed us how he jumps off the playground every time he's there.

What a good big brother Jack is - catching Maizie! Beau's favorite room in his class - the dress up room! His teacher Miss Laura says that he dresses up as Batman every chance he gets.

Maizie can hardly wait to be in pre K too because she loved the dress up room too.

He'll be graduating from Pre K next week and he is so excited!! He's glad to start going to kindergarten everyday instead of only 2 mornings a week. Our Big Dude BEAU!!
